It may not fall into sake category but Hon Mirin (Mirin) is taxed with alcohol tax under National Tax Agency just like sake.
There are sake breweries who make amazing Hon Mirin like Toshimaya Shuzo, Rihaku and more. Please take a look at Japanese Food Guide, A Guide to Mirin if you are not familiar with it. The photo is taken at Toshimaya sake brewery’s Rita shop in Kanda Tokyo. They launched the Hon Mirin called Me – which is drinking grade. It is unpasteurized, undiluted, unfiltered sake. Muroka Namagenshu. One of the two has ori (residue) in it. Another one do not have ori. Both tastes amazingly good. Kokoro Hon Mirin in the middle is also delicious but it is pasteurized and filtered.
